Many Texas residents think that if they're married, they don't need to make a will because their spouse "obviously" inherits all their stuff when they die.  Au contraire, mes amis!  Another common error is to think that once you make a will, your heirs will just inherit without having "the expense of probate".  Not so much...

 Is there an elderly person living alone in your neighborhood?  Has there suddenly been somebody escorting him or her in and out of the home?  If you chat with your elderly neighbor, has he or she started talking about the person who "helps me out"?  Has your neighbor's demeanor changed, becoming more evasive or frightened?  Beware the "friendly helper".
