Our firm does a lot of estate planning, and for the last 10 years, I’ve given free presentations on wills and advance directives to organizations through their HR departments and/or employee assistance programs (EAPs).  In the past year, I‘ve presented to over 300 employees of a local ISD, a large university, a major health system and other entities, to very positive reviews.  The sessions are always fun, relaxed and informative, and there is a Q&A session included.  Obviously, I hope these presentations result in business for our firm; however, the chance to educate people about their options and have them prepared before the need for these documents arises gives me great satisfaction regardless.  Did I mention it’s free?
